Christina Applegate cast in NBC comedy pilot
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Christina Applegate has been cast in the NBC's untitled Emily Spivey project.
The azygos camera comedy, from NBC flat and Lorne Michael's street Video Prod, takes an irreverent countenance at parenthood finished the saucer of view of an acerbic working mother (Applegate), along with her stay-at-home husband and narrow parents.
In past weeks, Applegate has evidenced to be one of pilot season's most in-demand actresses, making headlines when she passed on much projects as Darren Star's "Good faith Bitches" pilot for ABC.
The new mom's TV credits include a starring persona in "Samantha Who," "Jesse" and long-running Fox hit, "Married with Children."
Spivey ("Parks and Recreation," "Saturday Night Live") will serve as the project's illustrator and chief producer, with archangel ("SNL," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," "30 Rock") on board as an chief producer.
