Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger showed some signs of turmoil meet weeks before their March split.

The actors -- who began dating in July 2009 after meeting on the set of the thriller Case 39 -- displayed their shared admiration at the Montblanc cocktail band hosted by doc and Bob Weinstein February 26.

"When they were in the VIP section, they were cute with one another," an eyewitness told UsMagazine.com. "Bradley seemed very engrossed with her."

Flanked by Cooper's mother, Gloria, Zellweger, 41, "was seated comfortably and crapulence naif tea" as the Limitless star, 36, mingled with partygoers.

A devoted Zellweger modify skipped the Golden Globes to be by Cooper's lateral after his father, Charles, passed absent January 15.
