Jack LaLanne, a TV pioneer who urged couch potatoes to intend fit daylong before Richard Simmons and others, has died, his longtime businessperson told The Associated Press. He was 96.

Rick Hersh told the AP that LaLanne died of respiratory failure from pneumonia Sun at his bag in Morro Bay on California's bicentric coast.

LaLanne ate healthy and exercised every day of his chronicle up until the end, Hersh said.

Arnold Schwarzenegger once credited LaLanne with attractive exercise out of the gym and into living rooms.
