LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Charlie Sheen did not end up checking into rehab on weekday night, a maker told Access Hollywood.

According to the source, the "Two and a Half Men" star went to Malibu on Friday, where he was expected to check into a artefact in the area. However, the maker said, ultimately, Sheen did not end up checking into any rehab facility, including the famed Promises treatment center, where he has spent time before.

Instead, the maker said Sheen went bag terminal night.

The news comes inferior than 24 hours after Sheen's cloth released a statement on behalf of the actor, revealing he had "voluntarily" chosen to start rehab.

"Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation edifice today," the actor's rep, Stan Rosenfield, told Access tone on weekday afternoon.

Rosenfield was not directly available for interpret when contacted by Access on Sat morning.

Just as Sheen's cloth declared he was incoming rehab on Friday, CBS declared that "Two and a Half Men," the actor's hit comedy, was feat on hiatus.

"Due to Charlie Sheen's selection to start a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive shaper Chuck Lorre are placing 'Two and a Half Men' on production hiatus," CBS said in a statement. "We are profoundly afraid for his upbeat and well-being, and hold his decision."

Prior to the reports of the star way to rehab, Sheen spent the day in hospital at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, mass a late-night smash at his bag that long into the early hours of weekday morning.
