Peter Jackson Undergoes Surgery; Production on The Hobbit Delayed

Jackson was admitted to a Wellington, New Zealand, infirmary on Wednesday after suffering severe breadbasket pains, his communicator said. He is today resting comfortably and expected to attain a full recovery.

Jackson's sickness will retard the move of photography for The Hobbit, the two-part prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy, for a few days.
